BIO
Kathryn Foxfield writes dark books about strange things.
She blames her love of the creepy and weird on a childhood diet of Point Horror, Agatha Christie and Dr Who. She writes about characters who aren’t afraid to fight back, but wouldn’t last 5 minutes in one of her own stories.
Kathryn is represented by Chloe Seager of the Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency.

REVENGE OF THE KILLER WORM
UK
Milo is determined to make his summer camping trip one to remember: long days of playing video games in the rundown pier arcade, eating doughnuts on Stourmouth's underwhelming beach and causing mischief with his three best friends, Danny, Grace and Nora. This holiday must be epic, because in two weeks, Milo's moving house and life as he knows it will be over.

Then strange things begin to happen in Stourmouth. Milo and his friends witness the town mayor stealing several kilos of raw chicken. The owner of the arcade falls off the roof of the beachfront helter-skelter while shouting about a monster under the sand. And then something chases the friends through the secret tunnels hidden beneath the dinosaur-themed adventure golf.

Milo is convinced an old arcade game called Worm Attack holds all the answers. It's a shame that he can't get past level three without being eaten by the giant killer worm. But as the similarities between the game and real life grow, Milo's friends start to question whether Milo's "one last adventure" is worth the risk.

After that, she's forced to face her fears and come up with a plan: 1) rescue her friends 2) avoid being apprehended by overly efficient store employees, 3) hack into the store's delivery system and send the monsters back where they came from. Oh, and don't get eaten.
Whatever you do, don't look under the beds. And if you hear a wardrobe creaking open behind you, RUN!
GETTING AWAY WITH MURDER
UK and US
Walking disaster Saffron and her perfectionist twin sister Georgia have only one thing in common-they are both obsessed with battle royale video game Sole Survivor.
While working at a brand new, high tech escape room complex, Saffron poses a question to the resident AI: which high school stereotype would survive the longest in a real life version of Sole Survivor? She is convinced a rebel like her would beat a know-it-all like Georgia.
Unbeknown to her, the AI decides to determine the answer to her question by testing it out for real. It invites Saffron and Georgia's gamer friends to a preview of the escape rooms, but then it locks the doors and turns the rooms into a life-or-death battle to be the last player standing.

The rebel, the know-it-all, the princess, the jock, the geek, the weirdo, the star, the artist and the criminal. Just like in Sole Survivor, only one can survive the night.
